Business Unit Site IT Manager

• The Site IT Manager is fully accountable IT leader for all IT services at the Seneca campus. The role ensures stable, secure, and standardized IT service delivery, aligned with enterprise IT strategies, platforms, and policies, while directly supporting site leadership and business operations. The Site IT Manager represents all IT services at the site, owns site specific digital roadmap and technology adoption, local execution and outcomes, and partners with regional and global IT teams to ensure enterprise capabilities are delivered effectively at the plant. He/she leads the plant specific IT team and their development.

Key responsibilities

1. Business Partnership, Governance & Business Alignment

2. Act as the primary IT business partner and single point of contact and accountability for both the DMS and BES business units within the Seneca campus.

3. Represent the full scope of enterprise IT services at the site and coordinate with service teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and priorities.
4. Shape and lead local digital roadmap in alignment with regional roadmaps and enterprise strategies
5. Ensure clear communication of IT priorities, service performance, risks, and improvement actions

6. Ensure site-level adherence to global IT governance, standards, and architectural principles

7. Manufacturing IT / OT & Cybersecurity

8. Owns site-level execution and governance of IT and alignment with OT environments, including local MES, SCADA, connectivity, and engineering systems

9. Ensure compliance with IT/OT cybersecurity requirements, including asset inventory, segmentation, vulnerability remediation, and change controls
10. Coordinate with regional and global cybersecurity teams to remediate risks and incidents

11. Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience plans are implemented, tested, and maintained at the site

12. Digital Transformation & Technology Adoption

13. Lead local adoption of enterprise AI, digital platforms, tools, and processes

14. Support change management by guiding site stakeholders through new technologies and ways of working
15. Execute site components of regional and global digital initiatives, ensuring consistency and reuse

16. Identify adoption barriers, local risks, and improvement opportunities and escalate as required

17. IT Operations, Performance & Escalation Management

18. Own end-to-end IT service performance at the site, across enterprise and local services

19. Act as the site escalation point for IT incidents, service degradation, and operational risks
20. Coordinate local and enterprise service teams to ensure timely resolution and root-cause elimination
21. Participate in regular service reviews with site leadership and ensure SLA and KPI adherence (supported by service excellence)
22. Ensure operational compliance, audit readiness, data protection, business continuity planning and enforcement of IT and IT/OT policies

23. Manage local vendors and service providers in alignment with enterprise agreements

24. Site Project & Portfolio Management

25. Lead and coordinate site-level execution of IT projects and initiatives

26. Manage site-specific IT roadmap, projects, including scope, schedule, risk, and vendor coordination
27. Ensure alignment with global, regional priorities, PMO standards, and enterprise delivery models

28. Provide transparency on project status, dependencies, and business impact

29. Talent Leadership & Capability Development

30. Lead, coach, and develop local IT team, for their professional skills and experiences

31. Ensure site IT capabilities across operations, IT/OT, cybersecurity, and digital technologies
32. Foster a culture of ownership, service excellence, safety, and continuous improvement

33. Actively participate in regional IT communities and capability-building initiatives

34. IT Financial Management

35. Manage site IT financials, including budget, forecast, and actuals

36. Ensure cost transparency and compliance with approved spending
37. Support regional IT investment planning with accurate site-level input

Considerations for Reporting & Scope

• Reports to the Regional Senior IT Manager, dotted line to Plant Manager
• Acts as IT Single point of contact for plant leadership
• Owns end-to-end IT accountability at the site
• Leads local IT resources and coordinates enterprise service teams and providers
• Operates within the global IT operating model and standards

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• 6+ Years of related IT management experience required.
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) preferred.
• Highly experienced information systems professional with a strong technical background and proven track record of accomplishments in a large, complex multi-level organization.
• Experience in network infrastructure, architecture and protocols (routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls, network appliances), network automation and operations, patch management, application delivery, monitoring and cloud computing.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service who has provided responsive and effective support, developed solid working relationships with customers, and delivered high quality, value-added services that met/exceeded customer expectations.
• An innovative thinker who understands the practical application of technology and is able to plan for systems today that will carry the organization into the future.
• A technically strong individual with a broad and deep knowledge of network infrastructure, architecture and protocols (routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls, network appliances), network automation and operations, patch management, application delivery, monitoring and cloud computing.
